Minions are short, cylindrical, yellow beings with one or two eyes. Their demeanor ranges from playful to work-minded and everything in-between, although generally they are regarded as very child-like creatures with a high level of intelligence. They are often seen accompanying their master, Gru, on a dangerous mission, going about their daily duties in Gru's lab, engaging in some playful antics, and eating bananas... a food which might as well be a staple of the Minion diet. While not ones to turn down the volume on any level of silliness, they are also fiercly loyal to their master and will go to any means to assist in a heist, task, or whatever it is that their master wishes them to do. Minions are quite possibly best described as a rocket loaded with balloons -- equal parts eager to blow things up and bring the house down at a party. This makes for an odd combination, as Minions are both innocent and also highly destructive. On the whole, they are fun-loving, mischievous, friendly, playful, eager to please, helpful, loyal, intelligent, silly, and adventurous. While no one really knows exactly where Minions came from, it is certain that they primarily exist to serve a master. If they are deprived of this they are susceptible to perishing.
